I was in a car accident on 23 April 2013 and i put in a claim at Discovery while i waited for the 3rd party to be sorted out.

In short, i have been given different conflicting stories everytime i speak to their consultants (do they not have consistent internal policies and processes, proper training and knowledge). i complained via Twitter and was assisted very quickly.

Now the expiry of the car rental has been reached and my car has still not been repaired. i have to renew the rental at my own cost (Discovery could have informed me that my car was roadworthy and i could opt to take the rental later?)... the panelbeaters suddenly realize on the last day that the boot is damaged and now i have to wait more than a week?

Discovery agents dont return calls. they dont make notes on the system to notify of progress... there is no Business continuity as to looking after customers when the responsible agents are on leave...

Is this supposed to make life easier for clients or what? because i am in worse position now.

I have lost faith in my insurance
