I don't even know where to start, on the 29 of April I phoned in as a customer to Standard Bank to get the correct details from them to settle a vehicle, I asked the lady from standard bank to give me the correct account no where I must pay the money in to settle an account... I then confirmed with the standard bank consultant if the account no was correct where she then confirmed it was ref no 52963600. I then did the transfer to settle the vehicle and just to find out after I confirmed that it was in to the wrong account. The account no that was given to me was for a private customer a Mr TA Divenhage... account no that was given to me 40597008... I phoned Standard bank finace to ask them for the original Natis WHERE THEY THEN ADVISED ME THAT THE MONEY WAS PAID IN TO THE WRONG ACCOUNT!!! Ref no EC:591E7F4C... I then Phoned Standard bank to log a missing fund call where I was told that I must wait 21 working days before they can help me with anything... I kept on phoning standard bank because I tried to prevent the customer taking the money out his account and using it, well almost a moth later it has been taken out of the bank account and transferred in to another acc..
