I took out a loan for which I subscribed to FNB's insurance cover and stated categorically on the record (noted on the contract) that I will subsequently replace their insurance cover with my own as my life policy provides for credit assurance. I have been sent from pillar to post and no one seems to know exactly how to amend the contract and adjust the monthly premium. This is shocking incompetence from staff of a banking organisation. One would assume employees understand their internal processes and procedures.
