Good day
I have Comprehensive Insurance with Absa deducted on the 20th of each month, last Month we had a death in the family and I send them an email explaining that they must deduct the funds twice in May due to their debit order being returned. Spoke to Stewart Moeng my broker and he escalated the matter to Rina de Villiers, who informed Michelle Prinsloo, my banking details have also changed and I informed them as well of the new account where the premium has to be deducted. They agreed that the double deduction will be done on the 20 May 13. On the 21 I checked my account and saw no deduction was taken, I contacted them and no feedback was given to me until Siphesihle Madlala responded that my Policy was cancelled because of unpaid Premiums, I asked who gave approval for that as arrangements were made and they where agreed by Michelle, Rina and Stewart, the only thing I was told is if I want it to be reinstated I should let them know. I only skipped 1 month and have discussed it and given them the new account number. No feedback has been received from Michelle, Rina and Stewart regarding this matter. What is the point of speaking tothem if they end up cancelling my Policy
