Get your car towed at your own cost, we cant help

On the 9th of January I logged in a claim with 1st for women and the only communication I had with then was when the car was towed, I kept calling for follow up and they advice me that they will call me back and they never did. On the 14th I started getting worried and I called, only then I was told that they can't fix my car cause the value of the repair is less than the excess and I was ok with that I even ask them to email me the quotation and I called the company that accessed the car and they said they will fix the car, today I call then to find out what happening and the tell me that they spoke to the insurance and they need me to call then (Why can't they call me if there is a problem?) Today I call them and they tell me that I am countable for getting the car towed to the company that will be fixing the car!!! i was shocked not only because they want me to personally get my car towed but for the fact that I am paying for the insurance they are supposed to communicate with in terms of extra cost. They should have told me this from the onset. But to find out like this am still amazed getting a car towed from langlagte to Sandton its going to cost me a lot of money...
