We are now 1 month 15 days since we logded a claim with standard bank insurance. And have the most shambolic service ever rendered

Refilwe had been responsible for processing the claim and we have had endless promises with no action and conflicting information if you are lucky enough to get a hold of her in the first place. We were told documents were requested from ABSA which we then asked ABSA what the delay was and they said they had received no such request, which was pointed out to the consultant in question as we requested the settlemant letter ourselves and received it within 3 mins, and forwarded to the conssultant and yet they had no knowledge of the document depsite it being on her email. we were then told original registration docs had been requested and again asked ABSA, and guess what again they didnt receive any request. The only time that any requests are sent are because follow ups are made by ourselves which we should not be doing as this i would pressume is what the call centre is for. It has been the most frustrating experience we have ever had all because it is quite simply down to the lack of competence and professionalism shown by the call centre.
