I am seething over the service I have had from Clientele Life. I am married A.N.C .I took out an Open Ended Savings Policy with them 10 years ago. This policy has now matured. I have spent days trying to cash in my own policy. The problem has arisen because my husband pays the premiums from his banking account. However, I completed and signed the proposal form, the policy is in my name on my life etc but they insist that the policy belongs to my husband because he pays the premiums. My husband has nothing to do with my policy. It is mine and all the information provided on the policy has been given to them by me. They insist that he sign for my proceeds. I'm so enraged by this. What is the point of an A.N.C. contract if I cannot contract in my own right and have to be treated like a child and subjected to humiliation to get my own money??? As a matter of interest, I did cash in part of the policy in December and the encashment forms were received by me in my name. I had problems with them then as well. I hope I will never be put in a position where I will have to deal with them again!!!
