I had a really bad experience with Standard Bank. On Tuesday the 07th of May 2013 i logged onto my Internet banking & discovered someone had purchased airtime from my account to the value of R700. Immediately i contacted the bank to find out what was happening. Someone assisted me & assured me that they would close my accounts so that no further transactions could take place & that a case would be opened to investigate. This morning i log onto Internet banking again & discover that more airtime was purchased, call the bank once again & discover that my cards have not been stopped & then i get told that they will not refund my money. This is pathetic & i have decided to close my accounts with Standard Bank & go to another bank. I have now lost a total of R1065.
