Shortfall cover ad incompetence

A call centre employee calls to advertise shortfall cover, I decide to take out the cover to enable me to increase my excess on my insurance to decreas my premiums. However the girl never puts the cover on the system so i am not covered. to make things worse, i email wesbank who are extremely unhelpfull and tell me that i must call them to get the cover, never mind the fact that they instigated the ad and its thru they incompetence that i am not covered!! The onus is now placed on me to fix their mistakes!!!
