On the 1st April 2013 (public holiday), I noted and reported a transaction to the Absa help line. They stated that the only thing they can do is stop my account which I agreed to. Later that same evening there was a further 2 unauthorised transactions that went through despite my account being closed. I went into the branch the next day to complete the relevant documents and to generate a new card. On the 4th April there was a further 2 transactions which I reported again to the branch at Eastlands. I received a phone call a few days later to query some transactions and and on the 16th I received an email stating that a case will be opened and attached the (same) documents to be completed again. I replied immediately to state that the forms were completed. I followed up with an email on the 23rd of April to ask for feedback and an update. To date I have not received any feedback.
