Christmas Lights and Covid

We went last night 26/12/2021 to see the Xmas lights. First it took almost 30 mins to get into the parking area. Then the number of people between Ocean Basket and the food court was INSANE! There were NO covid measures in terms of the number of people allowed in a space (the restaurants were literally overflowing and tables were too close to each other). Then the lights! What a disappointment. For someone who has been for the last 6 years I can honestly say little to no effort was put in. Some lights were not even working. There was 1 hand sanitation point as you entered and as you left the lights.
Very poor showing Melrose especially from a covid front and protecting your patrons.
