After confirmation on booking for a caravan and a back stand for the Easter Weekend, there was a big mess waiting for us. Upon arrival at around 4am there was no security at the gate. Finally about 4:35 a white guy came to the gate, he said booking would be confirmed at 7am so we had to park by the dam until 7am because the caravan and back stand was occupied with other occupants. My brother arrived but was not allowed to come in, so we had to rush to the entrance gate to show them proof of payment. There after I paid for a canoe which I rented for 3 days. My brother unpacked and got his tent sorted, when Veronica told us to move the tent, as we did. We moved caravans twice and my brother had to move his tent 3 times because Rus n Bietjie's family didn't like the fact that I booked a tent stand and a caravan. The showers don't have hot water, there are cracks in the tiles, its not safe for kids, there's no life guard at the pool. The only people who I believe enjoy the resort would be Veronicas family. Even fishing was a mess, because Veronicas family got mad if you threw in your fishing rod, even got accused for throwing over "the families" line, but my bait fell off. This place is a waste of money!! I read an article about "Skyf n Bietjie" but I must say every word was true and just to prove that these review aren't sh*t I've got pictures to prove what is what there!!
