So I was just called for the millionth time for insurance etc. I asked the lady and she told me I gave permission to Rica to give my phone number to them so that they can call me. I thought the reason for Rica was "The aim of this legislation is to help law enforcement agencies to identify cellphone users and track criminals using cellphones for illegal activities." so how come my number is being handed out to marketing companies. Can anybody explain this to me please
