I made an order for 5 spa packages via Groupon two days before the deal closed. When I logged into my Groupon account, my order wasnt displayed and I made a call to them the same day telling them that my order is not reflecting in my account and i am sceptical of paying as a similar situation happened to my sister where she was never allocated a voucher even though she had paid in time and has been struggling to get her refund for 2 monthsnow. I was told it would only reflect in my account once I have paid. I made payment the next day on the 24th of July at the bank. I called on the 25th of July, the last day of the deal, asking if my payment was received. I was told they would recognise only after 5 days. I call today, 30 July, and im told to apply for a refund as the deal is closed as it takes time for them to recognise a deposit. I tell the lady i was speaking to that I did e everything ine time before the deal closed. How is it my fault that it was recognised in time. When you make an order it does not specify that payment is recognised in 5 days but only till the deal closes. Im very angry and disappointed, I was buying these vouchers to treat me and 9 others.
