SAA - personal property & get claim ignored

In October 2012 I flew with SAA to LHR and back. During my return flight I had to go via Johannesburg to CT. I checked in my luggage in JHB for the flight back to CT. On arriving back in CT, my luggage did not arrive with me. I was told it was still in JHB. They delivered my bag 2 days later with half the contents having being. I then submitted a claim to the SAA baggage claims, which is a very intensive process - you are required to get affidavits, quotes for everything and give your entire life's history. It is more intensive then submitting a claim for your car or household insurance. In OCT I received a mail stating they received my claim and would process it in 21 days. After 2 months I had received no further correspondence. When querying with them I was told they have no record of my claim and I should resubmit it. Which I did and was told it would be finalised in 21 days again. On following up once more, I was told once again they have no record. When i contacted my claims correspondent for the umpteenth time, I was ignored flat. It is over 6 months and SAA continues to ignore my correspondence and claim.
