We flew with Mango yesterday to Cape Town out of Durban.

While waiting quite a long time for our bags the gentlemen next to me asked the mango employee at the carousel when our bags would arrive and he replied that 37 bags had been left in Durban. There was no announcement, and had we not asked it could have been quite a while before we were going to be told. The staff member didn't have a walkie talkie and hadn't been on his phone, so he'd know the whole time he was standing there that there were 37 bags that weren't going to come through.

When we got to the Mango baggage counter the staff there were very rude and actually refused to give one of the more upset customers a form. You're always going to have upset customers at the baggage counter, but your staff's reaction was to make him more angry rather than to try and calm him down. She actually said: "I'm not giving you a form until you say sorry! " Luckily one of the other customers managed to diffuse the situation.

We filled out the form, and were given a slip with a mobile number, and an office number that had been printed on it. They had told us that the bags would arrive in the morning, but the morning is over, and both n
