Unauthorised use of credit card

I went in to pay for and collect an air ticket. I thought I would have my card run through the machine, put in my code and payment would be made. Next I noticed that she was writing my card number down and when I asked why she said she needed it to pay for the SAA flight which would only come through in an hour. I told her not to take the card number that I would be bac in an hour to pay and collect the ticket. To my horror I have just received notification of a further amount going off my card by this company. They have told me it is their service fee. I do not have a problem with this but at no time did I give them either verbal or written permission to help themselves which is why I told her that she may not write my card details down. They now have my card details and it can be used willy nilly.
