Cheap / empty promises by [URL Removed]

I booked my December holiday through [URL Removed] three weeks ago and was expected to immediately pay 50% deposit to secure the unit. Despite the fact that only 50% deposit is required, on the site they expect users to 'unclick' a check box to avoid you paying for 100% upfront which sadly I overlooked, seeing I had so many other sites open at the same time comparing dates and availabilities. I immediately realized this went wrong when RMB (my bankers) sent me an SMS confirming that the entire amount had been deducted off my credit card. I immediately phoned [URL Removed] and followed up on email after they requested that I redo this, this time for half the transaction amount and they would ensure that the first (incorrect) 100% value be reversed.
I followed their instruction but to my dissatisfaction, thereafter despite endless phone calls, them acknowledging and assuring me that this would get done, three weeks later this is yet to be reversed. I hate uselessness and cheap, empty promises. Be aware. [URL Removed]
