Unreliable reviewing process on Safarinow

Be aware of the reviews given of accommodation published on Safarinow, as this process is not democratic or transparent at all. Over December I stayed at a place which was advertised on Safarinow and was asked afterwards to give a review of the place. I duly gave a review which included some criticism as the place was, according to my opinion, not really up to expectations. However, after the owner of the accommodation complained about my review and my rating the review was suddenly removed by Safarinow and now the only reviews left of the place are the positive ones. Surely this makes the whole purpose of having a reviewing system completely obsolete as any negative reviews are removed by the request of the owners, thereby painting an unbalanced picture of how accommodation is really experienced by those paying for the accommodation. For that reason I will never make use of Safarinow again and I will advise others to also be wary of the accommodation advertised on Safarinow as you will never really know what you will get.
