This afternoon I phoned Qatar Airways and queried a flight. I explained to the person due to budget we had to go with the flight with long layovers. The lady said it is best I use the Qatar website and not an agent site, I thanked her and said I would.

Later when I called to ask if they can help us booking a hotel, she told me because we were not taking a more expensive flight she would make sure we get no free accommodation from them or paid accommodation as we are being cheap. And that we must sort that out for ourselves.

Suffice to say I am insulted and extremely unhappy. I'm in business and the nature of business is to make money. 18k is better than zero. So why the bad attitude? So if you can't sell a 30k flight, you want no clients?

Just so pathetic for an International corporation.
