Rude, Ill-tempered staff

Was told as I boarded the aircraft that there was no more space for hand luggage and I had to check my tiny bag in the hold. I asked politely if I could put the bag under the seat in front of me as it was full of valuables. I was told "No - and if you refuse we will take you off the flight and you will pay the penalty". The other passengers behind me complained to him that he was rude. SA 563 Jhb to Durban 15h05

On boarding it was evident there was plenty of available space in the bins overhead - and in any case my bag would have fitted under the seat in front of me.

I won't be flying SAA again in a hurry!
