PENSIONERS 'DISCOUNT' - WHAT A RIP OFF!

My elderly aunt called to say she had heard Mango is offering a discount to pensioners on selected flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on calls through their call centre. I called on her behalf and the quote was R4297 return for 2 pensioners including the discount. This seemed quite expensive so whilst I was on the phone, I checked the prices through the website and the quote for THE SAME FLIGHTS was R3514.16!!! There is a R50 pp surcharge for call centre bookings which they tell you about through the voice prompts, but this is still a large amount more expensive!

they are misleading vulnerable old people into making bookings by telephone when a web booking would save them money. A BIG FAT ONION TO MANGO.
