REFUSE TO REFUND NAME CHANGE FOR MARRIAGE SURNAME

On 4th July 2013 I boarded MANGO JE322 at 5:55 to Durban for a family function. The booking was done
from Durban and was booked according to my marriage surname. When i produced my Identification
which is in my maiden name I was denied boarding access. In-spite of my remonstrations with the
supervisor I had to pay an admin cost for a name change. I had the assurance that the cost would be
refunded to me on the production of my marriage certificate.

I have sent this to mango refunds department and received a reply that displays a disability to comprehend.

REPLY:-
"We will not be able to refund as the mirage certificate shows that the surname was changed a long time ago and you had to book a flight with the same surname that you will be using when presenting your ID at check in counter."
