On the 07/10/2013 i checked in at the OR Tambo airport at 17:10 and my flight was for 17:50 and while waiting in the queue I reached the counter at 17.25 to give in my bag and I was told sorry our check in is closed for the flight your supposed to be on, but the plane has not left yet as you still have 35mins.??? so they tell ME go to customer services and they will get you on another flight not tell me anything about paying extra money!!! get to the counter the lady is rude does not greet or explain anything after me telling her what had happen she just tells me R622.00 needs to be paid??? What the??? i never had that amount of cash on me and had to make a plan to get that money!!! i ask her why do i have to pay that amount it's not like the plane left coz i still have 35mins before my flight leaves??? she said sorry we can't help you!!! If this was Kulula or SA they would have went out of their way to help they customers not to ripe them of like mango does!!! It's not my fault the lines where long and that mango does not have enough staff to help the customers over the counter!!! I want my money back because that was day light!!!
