I applied for a medical visa in April, after being interviewed in Pretoria, it was approved for 6 months & the high commissioner advised that when reapplying I will not need to resubmitted all my medical docs. I visited the BLS Int, Bruma on Fri, together with my application forms, all required docs as stated on the website. The receptionist reviewed the documents, gave me a ticket & I waited to see a consultant. I cannot give you any names as they do not wear name tags, for a good reason, I may add. After 2 hours I get to the counter and the lady says she needs copies of my entire medical history attached to my husbands form. That was the only thing wrong. I got there on Mon at 15:00 to submit my docs and the receptionist said the counter closed at 14:30 for submission, although the door displayed the time until 15:00. Extremely angry I return on Tues at 7:30, get to the counter only to be told the passport no. on the application form of my husband was incorrect. Clearly they do not pay attention & are incompetent. Several people were complaining about returing 3 - 6 times. This is unacceptable & unprofessional, they make up the rules to suit themselves. Something needs to be done
