Amendments of qoute after payment is made

We booked a campsite at Bakgatla and received a quote from Safarinow. We proceeded to pay the amount qouted after which we were informed that there was no campsite available anymore. After inquiry at Bakgatla we were told that there were no campsites were available but seeing as we have paid they will make a plan but the amount will be double what we already paid. I don't feel that is fair that we get quoted one amount and then told that it will be more. When a qoute is sent out surely the person sending it should make sure it is correct. A qouted amount has to be the qouted amount. This is totally unacceptable as we have now had to change all the travel rrangements we have already made.
