Z800 Pricing

The 2013 Kawasaki Z800 was launched at a price of R115, 000. I was very interested in the motorcycle and went to a dealer and discussed with them that I felt their bike was overpriced for the market segment as you could buy a Honda CB 1000 for R110, 000. I was told by the salesman that Japan had priced their motorcycles high because of Kawasaki's current racing success. I then purchased a Z800 at the end of Feb this year. Kawasaki has recently dropped the price of the Z800 to R99, 900 and as a result of this I have instantly lost value and money on my motorcycle due to the decrease in price. I have contacted Kawasaki's customer line with no response to date. Having previously owned 4 various other Kawasaki's I will now not purchase another product from the Kawasaki brand, as they have dropped the value of my vehicle by reducing their prices.
