We needed an uprade our our account in 2007. MWeb agent mistakenly opened another account which should have been linked to existing account. This never happened and it was not activated either. Our first account was capped and when we went over the capped quota we were charged. The service was bad and a Sales rep discovered that we should not have 2 accounts and that we were being charged for both. This was only hightlighted in January 2013 becasue MWEb billing never picked up on the fact that they were billing 2 accounts and one was not activated. We have had no pleasure in trying to sort this out. They have not once even admitted to their mistake and keep passing the buck. They owe us in the region of R31000 and that does not include intererst over this period or refund of going from capped to uncapped chargeson our initial account. We are law abiding citizens who in good faith paid up every month on time not knowing that MWeb were responsible for this gross error.
