Upgrade Cellphone not fuctional

I went to Cell C in Canawalk last night for my upgrade to a Lumia 820. Whilst doing the paperwork someone in the shop my current phone (Nokia E72) that i had. We havent even had a chance to remove the simcard.
They told me they can not look on the cameras because only IT can do that.
Getting hom ewhen wanting to charge the New Nokia Luma 820 it didnt want to charge orr even show any signal that it was charging. SO now i have no phone and sitting with a phone that doesnt work.
