I got a phone on contract form 8ta hatfield on 19 Feb.By 5 March the phone stopped working and i took it back for repairs. To this day i have had no communication from the 8ta store who keep telling me the phone is awaiting parts. The phone was defective in my opinion as i had barely used it for two weeks when it started showing problems. Today i find out the store i applied for the contract only sent the phone on on the 27th March and there is a 28 day working day waiting period. Yet i continue to receive bills for services i cannot access. I was told clearly that i cannot use the sim card in another phone as that nulls my warranty, yet when i phoned customer care i was told that i could have used the sim card in another phone and accessed the services. So who is right? My contract was to the value of 308 per month, yet the bill reflects an extra amount which was not told to me when i was signing the contract. it should be inclusive. Further still the store burned down and i have been told that until it is sorted out i must sit and wait with no recourse? This is nonsense and a breach of my consumer rights.
