I wanted to take a MTN internet package with @lantic, but was forced to cancel the deal (within 7 days) because there was absolutely no coverage in my area.
Lee confirmed several times that the contract was cancelled. But on 03/04/2013 @lantic debited my account with a staggering R1356.08! The contract I applied for originally was only R299 per month!
I contacted their accounts department immediately, but they said that I can only be refunded after 14 days! I then contacted Lee who PROMISED me that I would be refunded asap. Its now been almost 2 weeks and still nothing!
Every time I try to phone the accounts department (Rudolf Wieler on 087 805 3364) it just rings, clearly no one works at @lantic. And since Friday I'm struggling to get hold of Lee at the Kolonade store.
How can they just debit my account for so much? What if this was a family that need the money desperately? I could still understand a incorrect debit of R299, but 4 times that amount? Come on!
All I can say is PATHETIC!
