Upgrded contract to smart advance and received iphone on 1 March 2013 (as no blackberry available on this option). Activated the phone Sunday 3 March. Although connected to my wireless at home and I could download a few apps, On Sunday evening and on Monday morning - No service. Contacted call centre and mentioned that there is no service and I am not happy with phone. Maureen indicated that I can take phone back and just mention reason = no service (NO mention of ETA). Took phne back that same day to Centurion (AGAIN - No mention of ETA). They requested that I can have Blackberry on the smart advance. After numerous calls from MY side - they inidcated it is fine, but need to be charged CPA charges of approximately R800. When I said I could not use phone - they started mentioning ETA (after 2 weeks). Contacted head office and spoke to Mar-louise. She could not assist and promised to escalate. No feedback. Then I responded negatively on sms survey and then her manager contacted me. Could not assist and promised to get back to me on 26 March. To date NO feedback. It seems my upgrade has been completed from 1 April, but I still do not have new phone and NO_ONE gets back to me!
