Both myself and my fiancee have been experiencing serious difficulties with Vodacom. We have 4 contracts between the 2 of us and here are the problems: Not being able to convert airtime into data, check balance, whether airtime or data bundle due *111# hardly ever working. Data went missing from 1 phone, we called in to complain, the VODACOM agent started asking security questions. Straight after the security questions were asked, he then started getting personal with my fiancee, asking if she was single etc. Scary thought that people like this would be employed by a company that deals with personal details of individuals. Further more, I experienced an issue with buying 100megs at 08:20am and by 18:00 on the same day, all the megs were gone. Only my emails and whatsapp was used and to a minimum. I call vodacom and am being accused of downloading, using apps that are non existent on my phone, basically coming up with all sorts of excuses and pushing blame. Due to all these issues, I wanted to cancel at least 1 contract which is due for an upgrade and was told that it expires on 30 May so cannot notify them now but have to call back on the 27th April. Ridiculous service.
