Booked IPhone in for repair at Eastgate. Queried if cracked screen would make a difference on repair as issue was battery/ overheating which started a few days earlier (phone has been cracked for 6 months already). Consultant said this will make no difference as complaint is not screen related but either battery or software issue.
Phone was tested and could not be repaired and then sent to for further assistance. Called repair centre and was told phone will be replaced if it cannot be repaired.. Called two days after and ran into arrogant consultant who told me replacement cost is R2900 (was told that I should now this as SMS was sent which I did not receive). Asked to speak to manager and she proceeded to tell me that this will make no difference as what she says goes. Do consultants make decisions for management? She made me feel like a (saying their system shows delivery) when I said that no SMS was received.
i wonder whether Vodacom know what their consultants are doing as they are a power unto themselves. I will be closing the 3 accounts as the come to an end as the service and attitude is disgusting. They probably won't care as they think that they are
