I am a Telkom residential customer (011 482 9500). I cancelled my ADSL service with uncapped data in January 2013 due to the cost being too high and kept the landline. I decided to request the service on a more affordable option. I called on the 25/03/2013, approximately 11:20 and went through to the Options Centre when calling 10210. I spoke to Zandile. Reference number given was 5405845A.

Zandile stated that she has an "awesome deal" to offer me. The deal would cost me R169 which will include the ADSL line rental and 5GB data per month. I thought this is affordable and requested for the service to be added. She confirmed and stated that I will receive a modem too, even though I said I have a one. She also said that it's not a contract.

I called today, 27/03/2013, approximately 16:10, to follow up on the progress. Hazel at the Options Centre could not see any order and went to confirm with Zandile. She came back stating that Zandile made a mistake. She said that there is no such deal available. I requested the matter to be escalated to a manager and I am awaiting this call.

I require assistance hereon and the services to be honoured as promised telephonically.
