I have been a customer of Altech Autopage Cellular for about thirteen (13) years.
I wanted to do an upgrade of my phone. I logged onto 'my account' and was requested to phone and speak to a consultant. I duly did this and spoke to Lazola Mapolisa (Retention Consultant) on 28 February 2013. He promptly e-mailed me the retention offers.
On 1 March 2013 I e-mailed the said Mr Mapolisa and informed him of my choice of phone. I further requested more information on certain packages. I received a read receipt with a time of 13:33:42 dated 1 March 2013. In spite of several e-mails thereafter I am still awaiting a response from Mr Mapolisa.
I eventually contacted a branch in Kimberley and was helped by Coral. All documentation was signed and forwarded.
On 12 March 2013 the said Coral telephoned me and said my phone would be delivered by courier on 13 March 2013. I further received an sms stating that I could activate my gift card.
The phone did not arrive. Further calls brought no joy. Up to date (26 March) I still do not have my phone in spite of numerous calls etc. and communications with Head Office. I have, however, received my account. Clearly a case of pathetic service!
