Promises not kept

On the 3rd of March I called Canal Walk and requested info on porting to Cell C from MTN on an upgrade with Autopage. I was advised that I could get a Apple 5 32GB for R548 per month with no pay in, but there was no stock available. I then called N1 City who looked up the same deal, but was also told there was no stock available. I called Tygervalley and was told that they had 1 in stock. I drove out from Pinelands and sat down with Amber to do the necessary documents. She looked up the deal on the system and showed me that the deal was infact for R578. Amber called the Canal walk store, but the person I had dealt with had already left and she assured me she would follow up on it. I then decided to go ahead with the porting and upgrade as I had driven all the way out. Amber informed me that the new prices would be coming out on the 6th March and she was convinced that there would be better deals on the Iphone 5 as it was a new launch. She explained that it would be to my advantage to wait. I was skeptical, she promised to keep the same price if it was more. Now tells me the package is no longer available.
