I have a 24mth pre-paid data contract with Cell C. The package was bought last year in February.
In February this year (after 12mths), Cell C discontinued my service. On enquiry with the Call Centre (Dunalo, Kurabo) I was told I had to purchase a R10 top-up voucher so that the account could be reinstated, even though it was pre-paid. I duly purchased a R10 top-up voucher, even though in a subsequent written communication from Setshegi Mothata in the Written Correspondence Dept., it was indicated this was not necessary and that the SIM card had been activated.
Well lo and behold, I still cannot access my account.
Following another call to Cell C this morning, Thabo, I have been told this will be escalated to the NFP (?) dept.
Cell C is committing by cutting off a 24mth pre-paid data contract after 12mths.
I have little faith in this company as they continue to provide a shoddy service.
