Faulty Camera, brand new handset

I ordered a Galaxy Note 2 from you guys a month ago. Everything was approved. Was promised my new handset twice without it being delivered. Waited another 2 weeks, finally I received my phone on Monday 11th March 2013. I never played with the handset much until Tuesday as the sim card wasn't activated.

When you go to Camera, it brings up a error message saying: warning camera failed, and that's it. You push okay, and closes the camera app . very frustrating to say the least. I googled to find out if it was a common problem, to which I found it is quite commonish. A lot of people stated that it might be a hardware fault or perhaps software.
I tried a factory reset, which never worked. Now the camera app is intermittent, it works for a few minutes and stops. Works and stops. I don't want a defective camera that works when it feels like it. I emailed Lerato Molatudi, as she helped me with applying for the handset. She advised that I should call 084 145, but it takes a while for someone to pick up the line, and cannot sit on the phone all day as I work in a call centre.
please assist as this is ridiculous. sent a email to customerservice with no avail, i need a new phone!
