Paid my account in full but still get blacklisted

To whom it may concern,

I am having major problems with Vodacom and this account. I'm receiving phone calls from you guys at MBD INC to pay the amount of -R800-00.

I went to Vodacom in July last year to settle and close my account; I refused to take the upgrade and I want to close the account, So I asked the gentle men at the Bedford shopping centre branch to give me the full and final amount to cancel the contract, the amount was R3108-98 so I paid it at the Pick n Pay in Bedford centre. Once I did that I thought every thing was paid and canceled.

In September last year I got a phone call from MBD INC that I was handed over for not paying the account, but I told them I did pay it and closed it, they said I must go to any Vodacom and find out from them what is happening. I went to the Bedford centre Vodacom and I asked there. The guy there looked on the system and he says that I don't owe the money everything was paid. So he took my number and he said he will sort it out. I waited 4weeks for him to contact me. I went there in the middle of October
And asked why he did not contact me... he said he misplaced my number and I had to give the number to him
