Ripping people off

My daughters sim card in her cell phone is no longer working. She has not touched it or done anything with it in any way. I phone the Cell C Call centre and am told that i will have to do a SIM Swap for R150.00. Now if you go and buy a SIM card on a pay as you go it costs 99c but you want me to pay for a new sim card of R150.00! I just don't get it. A contract customer has to fork out extra money while a pay as you go customer gets the better deal. I find this completly unacceptable.
