Bad Servive and Attitude

I handed in my black berry phone about two months ago for repairs to Cell C Westgate branch. I went back after 7 weeks to collect and was told they could not repair the phone and that my guarantee had expired while they had my phone in their care. Hence my guarantee has now expired and its no longer their responsibilty to fix the phone. The attitude i received was terrible its like take or lump it.
So the contract is a year old, meaning the phone is a year old so in other words we done with you just pay us for the remainder of your contract.
I am furious so tell me where to from here is this what service is all about? With all the lovely adds on television, I am loosing hope.
