PREPARE FOR UNACCEPTABLE TURNAROUND FROM CELL C

Buying a Cell C prepaid contract for my son was reasonably hassle free. We were informed that the quickest way to get data was to buy airtime vouchers and thereafter convert airtime to data. No problem, this was simple logic. The vouchers were purchased, redeemed and subsequently converted to 1 Gig of data. Happy to see an SMS notification. PROBLEM. The data was never loaded which we queried with Cell C. Understandably on a Saturday they cant help customers and we could expect a call on Monday. NO CALL. We followed up with Cell C only to learn that they work on a 48 hour turnaround, but wait, told that each day is 8 hours therefore we can have an answer in 6 days time!!! When one wants data it's pretty immediate, so queries surrounding that should be treated as such. All i can say is Cell C are a huge DISAPPOINTMENT if this is what they are prepared to dish out. I have a very dissallusioned son on his first "smart phone experience" in terms of which he'll wait six days before he can benefit from his hard earned pocket money.
