Due to bad service, I cancelled my Cell C contracts and ported my 1 number to MTN.I obtained a quote from Cell C on the 18/1/2013 on the amounts payable to cancel my contracts early. Once i had the amounts, I paid it to Cell C and sent the proof with the cancellation letters (2 contracts). I received a call on the 30/1/2013 confirming that the contract will be cancelled, which it was and put on pre-paid service. I asked for confirmation that no further deductions will take place and this was confirmed which is on a recording as well. On the 28/2/2013 an amount of R1921.57 was debited from my bank account. When I called Cell C, I was told that my number does not reflect on their system and the other contract has not been cancelled either. The debit order total was for both contract values R200 & R169 plus the balance of the 1 contract which I had already paid on the 18/1/2013.I was told on Friday 28/2/2013 that the query would have to go to billing department and that they do not deal with the public only consultants. I received an email confirming this and nothing since then. I have phoned and held on for more than 10 mins, left messages, sent emails and still no answer and no money. I am Livid!!
