I have lost confidence in Vodacoms message center being able to relay voice and SMS messages in a consistent and timeous way to my mobile. For 19 years now, as one of the first 10, 000 mobile users, I have received my messages accurately and timeously from the Vodacom Network with occasional glitches when the system was growing to fast and additional capacity needed to be installed. Over the last year, regularly SMS and voice message alerts are delivered up to 48 hours later and some never. This is unacceptable because the massive inconvenience, additional time and cost incured sorting out the mess of undelivered messages. If your product is regularly substandard do not sell it or fix the system. WhatsApp used on WiFi is now far more consistent for us. Maybe Vodacom needs to spend some of the LTE money or give a little less dividend to Vodafone to upgrade the Messaging System to cope with the work load imposed by new mass users like the Banks. Question: Are the business users relegated to the back of the Q when delivering messages? P.S. I will not run the gauntlet of automated responses before trying to speak to a human about this problem on the Vodacom Call Center.
