Failure to Deliver on Contract

I reserved a BlackBerry device from the MTN store in Melrose Arch before its release. Once the device became available I went into the store and signed up for the contract and provided all necessary documentation. The sales person informed me that it would take 2 - 24 hours to do the credit check. It has been 5 days and haven't heard anything from the store.

I find this attitude disgraceful and it is exactly the service I have come to expect from MTN.
Please can somebody respond without copying and pasting a standard template and help me sort out this issue.
