Incorrectly invoiced

I signed up for the 3 month free adsl trial late in 2011. I cancelled it after the trial period. 9 months later I get an invoice saying I owe some money.

please confirm account is closed and paid up.

note that I have emigrated to Australia now so I cannot call the call centre.
