Vodacom did not cancel one of my cell

Vodacom did not cancel one of my cell contracts and have been billing me for 4 years, now they don`t want to pay back the money, as they say I can't prove that I asked them to cancel that contract... but they can see that there has been no incoming and outgoing calls from that number from when we ask them to cancel that account.
