No Service, Poor Communication

After 4 weeks of frustrations, empty promises... I have come to the conclusion that Altech Autopage should be put at the top of "South Africa's most unprofessional Company" list. My Blackberry Bold 9900 was booked in for a "dead screen". Not once did I get told that it was due to "liquid damage". I was only told after fetching it yesterday that it was "BER". What a joke. It is 7 months old. After investigating other complaints on Hello Peter and other sites, it seems to me that the 9900 is a faulty phone. All the liquid damage complaints are on new handsets. Surely Altech Autopage should also investigate. Instead, they would rather treat their loyal clients like criminals. Lucky for me, I got a copy of all correspondence between the branches. This clearly shows that the client is just an in their eyes. Phones take a day to repair or check. The other wasted weeks, the phones around... and go AWOL. Mine was "sent to the branch" according to the fabulously intelligent head office, but after Menlyn branch investigated, the phone was still at head office, then mysteriously dissappeared for a day or two then reappeared.
