Airtime disappearing

My husband and me are both on blackberry's. we have the BIS plan. why all of a sudden is there extra airtime being taken from our accounts despite not engaging in 'non-BIS' activities. this happens when we communicate with each other via the BBM chat and even during night time hours. we do not make use of yahoo videos or play games on the phones. he has a 9300 and i have a 9790.
